Determinate. Be the first with tomatoes in your garden with this early producer! Produces very early and abundant bite sized, red cherry-type tomatoes with a nice, full flavour even in cooler weather. Reportedly resistant to Bacterial Speck. The plants are manageable in size, allowing them to be container grown. Rare variety, bred at the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station by renowned horticulturalist, Dr. Albert F. Yeager from a stabilized cross between 'Bison' and a wild current-type, 'Solanum pimpinellifolium' tomato and introduced in 1934. Benefits from starting indoors. Determinate varieties do not need pruning; fruit ripens within a concentrated time period. Seed from small organic farm in British Columbia.
Companions: Basil, Borage, Carrots

Growing Instructions:

Germinates best in warm soil at 24-29°C with moderate moisture.
