Please read the following policies carefully for all dahlias tuber orders.

**YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO ACCEPT THESE POLICIES BY CHECKING A BOX BEFORE YOU CAN COMPLETE CHECKOUT DURING THE SALE**

Tuber Policies

  • All tubers sold will have a visible eye, crown, stable neck, and body.
  • All tubers are sold as a single tuber.
  • Tubers will be free from visible disease at time of sale. We aim to remove any plants from our gardens that exhibit signs of disease and follow sanitation protocols when dividing tubers and cutting from plants. 
  • Once a tuber is planted, we can no longer guarantee that a tuber will continue to grow disease free as there are many factors that can influence this - including local growing, insect, and soil conditions.
  • Tubers will not be refunded after they have been planted. 
  • We guarantee varieties will be true to what you order - if you think a variety you received was mislabeled, please send photos of the bloom as well as the marked tuber to confirm if possible. Mislabel concerns must be voiced by the end of November of that growing season. If it is found that a mistake was made, we will happily work with you to find a suitable solution.

Order & Shipping Policies

  • Shipping fees will be a flat rate of $25.00 Canada-wide including tracking info. All packages will be shipped through Canada Post or UPS. 
  • Tubers will not be shipped until late April or early May, depending on weather.
  • Yes, we will COMBINE ORDERS - please choose the appropriate option in the shipping section at checkout. The shipping address must be the same for all orders. Please indicate your other order number(s) in the comment section on the cart page. If the free combined shipping option is chosen on all orders under a single name/address, you will be invoiced separately for shipping - if the shipping fee is not paid promptly, you risk losing all items ordered and being refunded completely minus a 20% restocking fee.
  • Cancelled orders may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • If we cannot fulfill any part of your order we will reach out to find the best solution, whether that means refunding unavailable tubers or substituting for another variety.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Lost/damaged/missing parcels will be dealt with on a case by case basis and we will do everything in our power to help locate/rectify shipping issues, however, once a package leaves our possession, some things are out of our control.
  • Please make sure you enter your email and shipping address correctly. We are not responsible for orders delivered to the wrong address.
  • Shipping is only available within Canada.
  • LOCAL PICKUP is available from Waterdown, Ontario and all orders must be picked up between April 20 - May 4, 2026. Orders not picked up by May 4 will be refunded, excluding a 20% restocking fee. If you cannot pickup during this time, please choose shipping or contact us immediately.
  • Please check your order immediately upon receiving and notify us within 7 days of any issues. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse sales to anyone due to harassment or abuse of mislabel/refund request options.
