This craft will introduce little ones to Ontario wildflowers in your garden!
Planting wildflowers is good for the environment because they provide a great habitat for pollinators such as bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, ants, and other insects or wildlife.
Wildflowers help improve the health of the soil and water quality. They clean the air by releasing oxygen (what we breathe in) and eating carbon dioxide (what we breathe out). Plus, they are beautiful!
Native Ontario plants are best to grow because they support local wildlife and they are already well suited to grow in our climate. They will readily spread their seeds in the fall to keep our areas populated with native plants.
