String of Hearts (Ceropegia woodii) in 2.5" pot
Delicate, heart-shaped leaves with slender stems that can reach up to 12' long and often creates a fountain of stems trailing down the side of the pot.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid very bright direct light, or shady areas. Leaves will grow more densely with smaller gaps between along the stems when given more light.
Care: Water only when soil fully dries - about 4 weeks between watering. Prefers underwatering vs overwatering. If the leaves start to look wrinkly, or feel very soft, the plant needs watering. Avoid misting or very humid conditions.
Size: Vines can grow up to 2m in length, or prune as needed.
Toxicity: Safe for pets.
