ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) in 4" pot
This popular plant is well-known for it's hardiness and easy-going nature. Growing in thick, bulbous stalks with shiny, leathery leaflets growing along the stalk.
Difficulty: Beginner
Light: Tolerant of bright, indirect light or moderate/low light.
Care: Water only when soil fully dries - about 4 weeks between watering. Prefers underwatering vs overwatering. If the leaves start to look wrinkly, or feel very soft, the plant needs watering.
Size: Slow growing, with mature plants reaching 2-4' tall.
Toxicity: Moderately toxic to pets and children. Keep out of reach of pets or children. May cause vomiting or diarrhea if ingested. The sap can also irritate skin - wash skin if it comes in contact with sap and avoid contact with eyes.
