Buddhist Pine (Podocarpus macrophylla) in 4" pot
Narrow, thin leaves grow along central stalks. Tolerant of cool conditions and moderate light, makes this an easy plant to care for.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Light: Tolerant of bright, direct or indirect light and more shade during winter.
Care: Water weekly, or as often as needed to keep soil moderately moist but well drained. Will need less watering in winter. Do not allow soil to dry completely or leaves will drop. Prefers cooler temperatures between 10-210C.
Size: Slow growing, with mature plants able to reach 6' tall.
Toxicity: Moderately toxic to pets and children. Keep out of reach of pets or children. May cause vomiting or diarrhea if ingested.
